Early in his career, founder and CEO, Art Berard returned from military duty in Vietnam and began working as a flight instructor
and charter pilot in Memphis, Tennessee during the late 1960's while attending Memphis State University. After moving to Florida
in 1978, Art took a position as sales manager for a full-service FBO selling corporate aircraft. He gained a wide range of
experience in marketing and management of turbo-prop and jet aircraft. During 1981 Berard Aviation, Inc. was formed and
the company has
built a sizable group of clients who use its services in their sale or acquisition of aircraft. This group of clients depend
on Berard Aviation for their level of expertise, experience and most of all "trust" in all their transactions.

Mike has been involved in aviation maintenance since 1978 and is third generation in the industry. He currently holds an Airframe
and Powerplant certificate, Inspection Authorization as well as being a Designated Mechanics Examiner. Mike is Chairman of the
FAA’s Charles Taylor Master Mechanics Awards, Lead Representative of the FAA Safety Team (FAAST) promoting Aviation Safety, Director
of the first FAA ACE Maintenance Camp as well as a member of National Aviations Advisory Board. Mike has worked for Cessna Aircraft
Company, Duncan Aviation and Pratt & Whitney Canada. In 1994 Mike and his wife Elena (also an A & P) started Southern
Aviation Technologies, Inc. at Orlando’s Executive Airport. They together built the company into a very successful FAA 145
Certified Repair Station, specializing in corporate business jets. They sold the company in July of 2001. Today Mike is
President of Aircraft Maintenance Training Institute, Inc. (AMTI). Mike and Elena started this company with the primary
focus being on continuing education for A & P Technicians. They are offering affordable model specific training
courses as well as general training courses directed solely to A & P Technicians.
Mike has joined Berard Aviation as an affiliate
located in Orlando, Florida offering his
expertise to clients of Berard Aviation during
the sale and acquisition process.

Retired as a captain from Delta Airlines, Jack
has over 15,700 flight hours with type ratings
in B757/767, MD-88, DC-9 and 30 years experience
in numerous helicopters and corporate aircraft.
Jack flew Hueys in 1st Calvary Division in
Vietnam during 1970-1971 and was awarded the
Distinguishing Flying Cross, Air Medal with Oak
Leaf, Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal
with "V."
